GLAD GROUP AND GLAD INDIGENOUS ENTER A JOINT VENTURE PARTNERSHIP

Glad Group has entered a joint venture partnership with Glad Indigenous to deliver cleaning, security, and traffic management services across Australia.

This partnership is grounded in deep respect of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and is in alignment with Glad Group’s desire to positively impact indigenous communities across Australia.

Glad Indigenous, welcomes Scott Franks as CEO and joint founder with Nick Iloski – Executive Chairman of the Glad Group. Scott, a Wonnarua person whose traditional lands are the Hunter Valley, NSW, and Nick share a common commitment to building a partnership to deliver opportunity, education, and development for Indigenous communities across Australia.

The joint venture is ambitious in its approach and aims to develop and foster relationships that drive a culture of shared knowledge, learnings, and resources, strengthening connections to people and community, and create better futures for Indigenous people.

Glad Indigenous objectives

Glad Indigenous is a majority Indigenous-owned and controlled business that will operate in a culturally appropriate way that centres Indigenous people and their experiences through the entire employee lifecycle. This will be achieved by Indigenous-led strategies and objectives relating to:

  • Employment goals, including specific programmes to attract talent.
  • Provision of training and career development opportunities to retain talent.
  • Promotion of Cultural Awareness training that drives welcoming and inclusive environments and experiences for Indigenous employees and builds capacity for the non-Indigenous workforce and partners.
